Who we are

Strutly (strutly.app) is run by [Your full name], a sole trader based in the UK. For this website, we are the "controller" of your personal data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Questions about your data, or want to use any of your rights? Email help@strutly.app.

ICO registration number: [ICO registration number].

What we collect and why

Waitlist: your email address, business name, trade, whether you'd like occasional updates, and where you came from (for example the link, campaign or website that sent you, and the first page you landed on). We use this to tell you when Strutly launches and to offer you a founding member place, and to understand which channels bring people to us. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked to join the list. If you tick the updates box, we also send occasional product news on the basis of your consent.

Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.

Analytics: which pages you visit, what you click, your browser and device type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. We use this to see what is working on the site and where people get stuck. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. You can turn analytics off at any time with the "Turn analytics off" link at the bottom of every page, and we respect "Do Not Track".

We never sell your data and we never use it for automated decisions about you.

Cookies

strutly_ft and strutly_lt: remember where you first and most recently came from (for example a campaign link), so we can tell which channels work. They last up to a year and are only read by us.

PostHog cookies (names starting ph_): used for analytics, as above. They are not set if you turn analytics off.

Login cookies: only set if you sign in to a Strutly account.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. They process data only on our instructions:

Supabase (database, stored in London), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sending email) and PostHog (analytics, stored in the EU).

Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on the legal safeguards they provide, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Waitlist details: until 12 months after Strutly launches, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner.

Contact messages: 2 years after our last message to each other.

Analytics: up to 2 years.

If you unsubscribe from emails, we keep a note of your address so we do not email you again.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to send it to you in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link in any email.

Email help@strutly.app and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). We would appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
